-       Winner of the II Computing National Prize - Category Hardware, sponsored by SEI, MODDATA and Fundacao Roberto Marinho, with the work: "Expanding the Limits of Local-Area Network by Using Multiprocessing and Distribution Techniques”, 1987.

-       Winner of the IV Computing National Prize - Category Software, sponsored by SEI, MODDATA and Fundacao Roberto Marinho, with the work: "Dataflow Support for a Parallel Computer", 1989.

-       Third Place of the 1989-Computing SUCESU Prize, sponsored by SUCESU Computing Society, with the work: "Mapping Operations in a Dynamic Dataflow Computer", 1989.

-       Third Place of the VII Computing National Prize, sponsored by SUCESU Computing Society, with the work: "Design of a Kernel Based on Ports with Orphans Treatment Support", 1992.

-       Advisor of the undergraduate work that was winner of the XI Competition of Scientific Initiation on Computing, sponsored by Brazilian Computing Society (SBC). The work has the title: "Distributed Simulation of a Parallel Computer", 1992.

-       Advisor of the undergraduate work that earned the second place of the IX Competition of Scientific Initiation on Computing sponsored by SBC. The work has the title: "Tool for Teaching and Development of Operating Systems", 1990.

-       Advisor of the Graduate (M.Sc.) work that earned the second place of the II Competition of Thesis and Dissertations, sponsored by SBC. The work has the title: "Design of a High-Speed Network", 1989.

-       Advisor of the Graduate (M.Sc.) work that earned the third place of the II Competition of Thesis and Dissertations, sponsored by SBC. The work has the title: "Mutual  Exclusion  Mechanisms in Multiprocessor Operating Systems", 1991.

-       Awarded a Medal of Science and Technology by the Federal University of Sao Carlos,1995.

-       Advisor of the Undergraduate student Rafael Santin, who was selected to represent the Methodist University of Piracicaba in the 57th Annual conference of the SBPC, 2005.

-       Advisor of the Undergraduate work, developed by the student Francisco César Oliveira, who earned the first place in Methodist University of Piracicaba, 2006.
