Formação Acadêmica: Graduado em Engenharia Elétrica - EESC/USP - 1973;
Mestre em Engenharia Eletrônica - ITA - 1978; Doutor em Engenharia de Sistemas
e Computação - COPPE/UFRJ - 1986; Pós-Doutorado em Realidade Virtual - Univ. of
Colorado/USA - 1993-1995.
Histórico Profissional: foi Professor na UFSCar de 1974 a 1999; foi
Professor na FEESR de 1999 a 2002; é Professor na UNIMEP e do UNASP desde 2002;
participou da criação do Curso de Bacharelado em Ciência da Computação da
UFSCar em 1974; coordenou a implantação do Mestrado em Ciência da Computação da
UFSCar em 1988; coordenou a criação do Mestrado em Ciência da Computação da
FEESR em 2000; coordenou a criação do Curso Superior de Tecnologia em
Multimídia Computacional da UNIMEP em 2003; coordenou a criação dos Cursos Lato
Sensu em Aplicações na Web e em Computação Avançada da UNIMEP em 2002; orientou
22 alunos de mestrado e 7 de doutorado na COPPE/UFRJ, USP-SP, UNICAMP,
